Robyn M. Butler
Robyn Butler is an accomplished trial attorney of over 25 years who has spent her legal career focused on civil personal injury defense. Robyn’s experience includes several solo and lead counsel jury trials, but she is always willing to assist a colleague with any case. She has tried numerous cases to verdict including cases involving auto liability, trucking liability, premises liability, professional liability, and consumer protection liability.
Robyn is a tireless advocate who is passionate about defending her clients. She works closely with her clients to ease any concerns they have about the litigation process. Her philosophy is to always be ready for trial while simultaneously seeking the most favorable early resolution for her client. She has extensive experience mediating cases. She has also enjoyed success resolving cases by dispositive motion.
Robyn is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Johnson County Bar Association. She also is a Fellow in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and a member of the Association of Women Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute. Robyn chairs the firm’s Mentorship Program, which provides career development and guidance to the firm’s new attorneys. She is a 2020 Women's Justice Awards Honoree, Litigation Practitioner Award, by Missouri Lawyers Media.
